Definicja
The term homeostasis is used to describe the optimal, stable state of a biological system such as a cell, tissue, organ or whole living organism, which is maintained by strictly regulated physiological processes. Homeostasis is a state of dynamic equilibrium, self-regulating primarily by feedback mechanisms to compensate for changes caused by external agents.[1] [2]
